Cooperation Process
The main materials include copper pipes, aluminum pipes, and copper-aluminum connecting pipes. Copper pipes are the mainstream choice for air conditioner lines, thanks to their optimal corrosion resistance, thermal conductivity, and stability.
Pure copper air conditioner connection pipe has better overall performance—good aging resistance and low refrigerant leakage risk, suitable for long-term use. Copper-aluminum pipes cost less but need tight sealing (joints oxidize easily), ideal for short-term use or limited budgets.
Yes. Excessive length increases refrigerant loss and reduces cooling/heating efficiency of air conditioner lines. Usually, it should not exceed 10-15 meters (manufacturer’s max limit); beyond that, professionals need to adjust refrigerant volume.
Yes. Without insulation, cold/heat loss harms efficiency, and condensation may damage walls/furniture. Use special insulation cotton and seal joints tightly to protect the air conditioner connection pipe.
Turn off the AC first, then contact professionals to find leaks (often at joints/bends). Replace damaged sections or re-weld seals, then refill with specified refrigerant to restore air conditioner lines.
Moderate bending is allowed, but avoid over-bending or dead bends—this causes blockages and poor refrigerant circulation in air conditioner lines. The bending radius should be at least 5 times the pipe diameter.
With proper maintenance (no corrosion/leaks), pure copper pipes last 10-15 years; aluminum/copper-aluminum pipes last 5-8 years. Inspect every 5-8 years and replace if oxidation, bulging, or leakage occurs.
Outdoor pure copper air conditioner connection pipe needs rust prevention (e.g., anti-rust paint). Aluminum pipes oxidize easily in rain—follow a professional ac pipe manufacturer’s advice: wrap exposed parts with waterproof insulation or avoid long-term outdoor exposure.
